Private Career Guidance
Program objective
The Private Career Guidance service helps individuals clarify their career plan and make informed decisions about their professional path.
Through personalized support with a career counsellor who is a member of the OCCOQ, participants can better understand their interests, skills, and the opportunities available in Quebec’s labour market.
Main types of support
The career guidance service primarily covers three types of mandates:
- Career Guidance
Support to clarify a career plan and identify suitable professional paths - Career Choice Validation
A process to confirm whether a career project or decision is relevant and aligned with the person’s profile. - Skills Assessment
An analysis of skills, experience, and achievements to define a clear professional positioning and identify suitable alternative career options.
What the program includes
- Analysis of professional interests, skills, and values
- Identification of realistic and suitable career paths
- Exploration of training programs and professions in Quebec
- Development of a professional action plan
- Support during career transitions or reorientation
How the support works
The first session is used to analyze your situation, professional goals, and support needs.
After this meeting, adapted recommendations and possible action steps may be proposed, including a more in-depth support process if needed.
If a more in-depth process is recommended and you continue with a package of 6 sessions or more, the first meeting will be included in the preferred-rate package.

- Service offered online and in person
- Support provided by a career counsellor who is a member of the OCCOQ
- Personalized approach tailored to the individual's professional goals

- Individual Session (60 min): $130
- Extended Support
- 5% discount for 6 to 9 sessions
- 10% discount for 10 or more sessions
